Full description
Let your children learn to ski or advance their level with one or more ski lessons in Roccaraso, the renowned Abruzzo ski resort.
You can choose whether to let your children attend a single lesson or book a course of several consecutive days , up to 5, so that they gain confidence on skis.
Lessons are held from 10:00 to 11:50 and always start on Mondays. The young participants will be divided according to age and level of initial preparation to form a homogenous group and make new friends.
What we will do
The meeting will be in Roccaraso, in the Pizzalto locality at 10:00 am. Here, the children will meet the instructors who, after putting them at their ease, will divide them into groups taking into account their age and level of initial preparation.
The newbies will begin to learn the basics of skiing and snowploughing, tackling a few simple turns and stopping safely.
Young skiers with some previous experience, on the other hand, will learn more complex techniques that will allow them to start tackling some blue runs. The ski instructors will make the lessons challenging, but at the same time fun for everyone in the group.
The children will make friends with their fellow adventurers and gradually become more and more passionate about one of the most popular winter sports.
The first lesson always takes place on Mondays . Each lesson lasts two hours, from 10:00 to 11:50.
Who it is aimed at
Classes are open to all children aged 4 to 15 years, whatever their initial level of preparation.
Teenagers may be included in the adult group if their initial level of preparation allows it.
Other information
When booking you can select the children's starting level and choose how many lessons (1 to 5) on consecutive days to book. We always start on Mondays, but those with previous skiing experience can start on another day of the week. Contact us privately and we will do our best to meet your needs.
There are often queues to hire equipment. The advice, therefore, is to turn up well in advance or hire the equipment in the village before reaching the meeting point.
It is necessary to come to class already equipped with a points card, which can be purchased on the first day at the Pizzalto ticket office.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
