Imagine walking in the snow under the starry sky and breathing in the magic of the woods enveloped in the silence of the night.
This 2.5-hour snowshoe hi ke will take you to Pian del Colle in Alta Val di Susa, where you will spend a very special winter evening together with an alpine guide and/or an environmental hiking guide.
Put on your snowshoes and headlamp, and off you go!
What we will do
The appointment is at 20:30 in the Campo Smith ski area in Bardonecchia. Waiting for you will be me, your guide on this exciting night snowshoeing tour. From here we will drive to Pian di Colle, where we will make our way with snowshoes on our feet.
Once at our destination, we will put on our snowshoes (included) and have a briefing to explain what awaits us on the way.
Making our way with headlamps we will cover 2-3 km, with a maximum altitude difference of 150 metres. Above us we will admire the spectacle of the starry sky and its constellations, below us we will feel the fresh snow and its magical crunch under our snowshoes.
We will cross a plateau between high forests of larch, conifer, spruce and stone pine. We will pass the ruins of the old melezet where the church of San Sisto stands with frescoes dating back to 1400.
At the end of the hike, we will return to Bardonecchia. The total duration of the snowshoe hike will be 2.5 hours.

This hike is at an easy level and open to everyone from 8 years old.
Other information
The activity takes place every day from December to April, subject to snow and weather conditions, and is confirmed with a minimum of four participants.
Dogs are not allowed.

- Layered clothing suitable for winter temperatures

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
