What are you doing tomorrow night? Cancel all your commitments and join us for a magical experience: a snowshoe hike under the stars in the heart of Val Thures!
Walking on snowy paths, you will visit ancient mountain hamlets where time seems to stand still. Here the silence will be broken only by your footsteps on the snow, amidst snow-covered forests of fir and larch.
At the culmination of the 3-hour snowshoe hike, a typical Piedmontese dinner in a refuge will make the spell complete!
What we will do
The meeting point will be 5 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Bousson (TO) . Here, we will be met by the ski instructors and nature guides who will accompany us on this night snowshoe hike.
After receiving snowshoes, poles and head torches (included) , we will participate in a short introductory briefing. We will set off at sunset, when the landscape is tinged with golden hues and the sky begins to fill with stars.
We will walk along the Val Thures hamlet path, which leads to Rhuilles through three characteristic alpine hamlets. After about an hour's snowshoeing, we will reach the Combe d'Imbert Vittoria refuge (1700 metres above sea level) , which will fascinate us with its unique architecture and the warm welcome from Mauro and his staff.
Here, a delicious typical Piedmontese dinner will be waiting for us (included) , prepared with local products: a first and second course, drinks not included. After dinner, with snowshoes on our feet and under the stars, we will return to the hamlet of Thures, enjoying the quiet of the night.
The route will be 5 km long and have an altitude difference of 110 m. The total duration of the activity will be 3 hours, including dinner.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for persons aged 10 and over. Unaccompanied minors must present a waiver signed by a responsible adult.
The activity is of an easy level and suitable for a first snowshoeing trip.
Other information
The activity is available from December to April and will be confirmed on reaching a minimum of 4 participants.
By requesting in advance through the contacts in the booking confirmation e-mail and paying a supplement on site, a transfer service is available from the stations of Sestriere, San Sicario, Cesana Torinese, Clavier and Oulx.
Dinner at the mountain hut will be a set menu, with a choice of two first course options and two second course options. Drinks are excluded and to be paid for on site. In the event of food allergies and intolerances, please inform the organisers at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email.
Dogs are allowed.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport, but free parking spaces are available nearby.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
