Book a boat reserved just for you and your friends to enjoy an exclusive tour of the Santa Maria di Leuca caves.
The skipper will take you along the Riviera di Pon ente or the Riviera di Levante, depending on the best weather and sea conditions. Both sides will amaze you with their uniqueness and beauty, where enchanting caves follow one after the other. You can visit the Grotta del Drago, the Grotta della Vora, the Grotta dei Gabbiani and many more.
A swimming stop at the penultimate cave is also included in the tour. You will take a dip with friends and depart for the last cave before returning to port.
What we will do
We will meet at the tourist port of Santa Maria di Leuca (LE), where we will board the boat for our exclusive use. It is a comfortable and well-equipped 5.8-metre boat with awning and shower.
We will set sail with the skipper towards the Riviera di Ponente or Levante. The choice of itinerary will essentially depend on the weather and sea conditions forecast for the day. In both cases we will be able to admire a unique seascape.
Both sides, in fact, will amaze us with a succession of caves. On board we will also hear many stories and legends that will make these places even more fascinating. Along the Riviera di Levante, we will visit the Grotte dell'Ortocupo, dei Gabbiani, di Terradico, della Vora or della Cattedrale, del Laghetto and delle Mennute.
The same fascination applies to the Riviera di Ponente, where we will be able to admire the Grotta di Mesciu Gianni, the Grotta del Drago, the Grotta del Presepe, the Grotta del Fiume and the Grotta delle Tre Porte, with its three imposing entrances that hint at the immensity of the rocky cavity.
Towards the end of the tour, we will also take a 20-minute swimming break. Back on board, we depart for the last cave of the excursion. Afterwards, the boat will head back to the starting point.
The activity lasts about an hour and a half and will end with the handing over of a handcrafted ceramic or leather gift made in the family workshop, in memory of this experience in Santa Maria di Leuca!

The activity takes place from April to October, depending on weather and sea conditions.
We will be on board a 5.8-metre boat with a capacity of 7 people and equipped with awning, shower and all necessary safety devices.
You can bring your four-legged friends on board. It is necessary, however, to inform the organiser in advance (contact details will be provided to you once the booking is confirmed).

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
