Experience the beauty of Florence from a new perspective and combine sport and fun in one exciting activity. With the packraft tour on the Arno you will discover the city from a truly unique perspective, passing under Ponte Vecchio and admiring the Florentine architecture in all its majesty.
The packraft is asingle-seater inflatable boat, similar to the raft but much more agile, easily steered and with greater freedom of movement.
It will be a scenic tour that will also satisfyadrenaline junkies with a thrilling rapid through the city centre. And for those looking for the ultimate in thrills, it will be possible to sail at sunset or at night.
What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in Florence. We will meet the guide who will accompany us on the tour, we will be provided with theequipment and have a briefing on the use of the packraft. In a short time we will already be perfectly able to steer the boat and will be able to set off on thepanoramic excursion towards the historical centre of Florence.
Navigation on the Arno will offer us a truly unique perspective to admire the city and some of its most famous points of interest, such as Ponte Vecchio, the Vasari Corridor, the Uffizi, Ponte Santa Trìnita and many others.
Along the way we will be able to take photos, listen to the anecdotes told by the guide , and experience the freedom of movement of the packraft, for a tour that will please the curious as well as the adrenaline lovers. One of the most entertaining points will be the descent of the Pescaia di San Niccolò, a real slide on the river in the heart of Florence.
The activity lasts a total of two hours and ends at the Pescaia di Santa Rosa, on the Lungomare Soderini.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is suitable for everyone over the age of 4. No specific experience or skills are required.
Children under the age of 12 will sail on board the parent's packraft.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the time chosen for the activity.
The activity can be carried out every day from March to November, subject to the availability of the guides, and is confirmed when there are at least 4 participants.
Personal items can be deposited at the starting point. They will then be returned at the arrival point at no extra cost.
In the event of severe bad weather or water conditions unsuitable to guarantee the safety of participants, the activity will be suspended and you will be notified by the organiser.
