Live an incredible experience of sport and fun in contact with nature, riding the rapids of the Lima torrent on the packraft, the single-seater boat that offers the same emotions as the rafting dinghy but much more agility and freedom of movement!
It will be an adventure that will take you to discover the Val di Lima, in the heart of theTuscan Apennines, in a fascinating and uncontaminated natural environment, in the surroundings of the renowned spa town of Bagni di Lucca.
An expert guide will accompany you along the frothy route among waves, rapids, current stretches, and quiet basins where you can contemplate the marvellous nature. Paddle in hand, off you go!
What we will do
We will meet in Bagni di Lucca, at Fabbriche di Casabasciana. We will meet the guide and the rest of the group and move together to the boarding point. We will be provided with all thenecessary equipment and, before setting off, we will have a briefing on the use of the packraft and safety rules.
At this point, we will board our one-man boats and off we go on our adventure! We will sail on the turbulent waters of the Lima torrent, in a breathtaking setting where unspoilt nature is the main feature. The course will be very dynamic, full of rapids and current stretches on which to test the packraft's potential. There will be no shortage of quiet stretches where you can let your gaze get lost in the beauty of the natural scenery.
The activity lasts a total of about 3 hours, including at least 1 hour of actual descent on the river. At the end, we will be taken by shuttle bus back to the meeting point.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an intermediate level. No specific skills are required and anyone in good health can participate. To do this activity, you must be at least 16 years old and be able to swim.
Other information
The activity takes place from March to June and from October to November and is confirmed when there are at least 4 participants.
The rafting centre does not have showers, but it is possible to change and deposit your personal belongings.
It is possible to agree with the organiser on the possibility of using the barbecue for grilling at the end of the activity, please let us know after booking!

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
