Full description
Discover all the splendour of the Lima river, one of the pearls of the Tuscan Apennines, with anexciting packraft descent in the company of a professional guide .
You will experience at first hand the fun of travelling down the watercourse aboard a miniature rubber dinghy and the adventure of exploring the magnificent and unspoilt landscape of the Val di Lima.
Between rapids, narrows and creeks of the torrent, you will paddle in complete freedom, thinking only of the experience!
What we will do
The appointment is in Bagni di Lucca, at the meeting point indicated in the booking confirmation. Once theequipment has been handed over to each participant, we will reach the starting point of the packrafting course with a 7-minute van transfer.
Before starting the activity, we will give a briefing to explain the safety rules and techniques for driving the packraft, a mini inflatable boat with a double paddle similar to a kayak. Given its small size, this craft will make the descent dynamic, fun and exciting even for those with no experience.
So, each aboard a single-person packraft, we will begin our adventure on the Lima River! With the aid of the paddle, we will descend down the river, immersed in the beauty and tranquillity of Tuscan nature. When we reach the halfway point, we will make a stop to enjoy a cool and pleasant swim in the waters of the Lima.
Throughout the 4.5-km route , you will have the possibility of rowing alone or in a group, but always under the supervision of our accredited guides, who will precede you in the river.
At the end of the activity, after about 2 hours of descent, we will return by van to the meeting point, where we will have toilets and changing rooms available.
The total duration of the experience is about 2½ hours, including transfer, briefing and packrafting.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 14.
In order to participate, minors must present a release form signed by their parent.
You must not exceed 100 kg in weight, be in good health and have good aquatic skills . Being able to swim is not required.
Other information
Packrafting is available daily from March to October and is confirmed with a minimum number of 4 participants.
The descent takes place in groups of a maximum of 10 people. If the number of participants exceeds 6, there will be two guides on the route, one preceding and the other following the group.
Upon request, a professional photo and video service can be added to the experience at a cost of €80.
You can leave your car in the car park at the indicated meeting point: the association office is only a 3-minute walk away from it. Here you will find toilets and changing rooms where you can get ready for the tour and change at the end of the experience.
We recommend that you leave your valuables in the car.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
