Discover Lucca’s River Park on a packrafting adventure. With splashes, small rapids and natural pools, you’ll have a great time in the great outdoors with an expert guide.
Get ready for two unforgettable hours!
What we will do
We’ll meet 10 minutes before the scheduled time at the meeting point in Lucca. The guide will be there to welcome us and provide us with all the necessary equipment (included) : a packraft, paddle and life jacket.
After a 10-minute briefing on safety rules and how to handle the packraft, we’ll set off on our adventure on the water. We’ll cover a 5 km stretch surrounded by greenery, alternating between very calm sections and a couple of spots where the current narrows, creating small rapids. As we paddle along, the guide will explain the wonders of the river park.
Along the way, we’ll have fun on some man-made slides and , if we wish, we can stop for a refreshing dip in the natural pools we come across.
Once the roughly 1½-hour river trip is over, a shuttle will take us back to the starting point in about 10 minutes.
The activity will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for children aged 4 and over; those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Please note: children aged between 4 and 10 must share a packraft with a parent. When booking, you will therefore need to select ‘double packraft’. Children aged 11 and over, however, may select the ‘single packraft’ option.
You do not need to be able to swim to take part in the activity, but you must be comfortable in the water. The maximum weight allowed per participant is 110 kg.
This activity is not suitable for pregnant women, or those with back problems or heart and respiratory conditions.
Other information
The programme runs from June to September and is confirmed once a minimum of two participants have been reached.
There are no changing rooms on site: we recommend arriving already wearing the required clothing. Any personal valuables may be left with the organisers.
Any accompanying persons with dogs on a lead may wait at the starting point.
Small dogs, without a lead or collar, may take part in the activity.
Photos and videos will be taken during the excursion and shared later via a link.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
