Full description
Beautiful rafting, in summer even more so. Our favourite version of this discipline is packrafting, also known as summer rafting.
Climb aboard a one-man inflatable canoe and venture through the rapids of the Serchio river near Lucca. End your descent at a peaceful beach, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the absence of current!
A 3-hour experience in the company of a guide, under the warm sun of the summer months.
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at the selected time in Borgo a Mozzano (LU). After a warm greeting (after all, this is summer rafting!) we will proceed with dressing with technical equipment. We will then board a shuttle that will take us to the starting point of our water adventure.
Once on site, we will begin with a short briefing: as a guide , I will check your familiarity with the water and give you pointers on the manoeuvres to be carried out during the excursion.
We will then board our packraft, a single-seater inflatable canoe, to venture 5 km through the second-degree rapids of the Serchio river. We will end our water excursion after 1 hour and 45 minutes, with a refreshing swim in an area protected from the current.
We will finally return to the meeting point by shuttle, for a total experience of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 16 years of age; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The weight limit for participation is a maximum of 100 kg.
It is not necessary to know how to swim to participate.
The experience is of an easy level but may be tiring due to the long duration.
Other information
Attention! Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes in advance.
The experience runs from May to October and is confirmed when the minimum number of 3 participants is reached.
The centre has changing rooms and hot showers outside.
Any accompanying persons may stay at the centre, which has a kiosk for the purchase of food and drinks.
The centre has free Wi-Fi.
