Great emotions and pure fun await you on the Serchio river, in the province of Lucca. Face the current on board a packraft and travel along a 6 km river stretch immersed in nature, among rapids and wild landscapes.
It will be a relaxing and exciting adventure at the same time where you will discover the flora and fauna of this area and the legendary Devil's Bridge. This marvellous medieval work is located in Borgo Mozzano, 20 km from Lucca. Thanks to packrafting, you will have the opportunity to observe it from a new and fascinating perspective.

What we will do
The appointment is in Bagni di Lucca, at the meeting point indicated in the booking confirmation. Once all participants have gathered, we will reach the starting point of the packrafting route with a 15-minute van transfer.
Before starting the actual excursion, I, your guide, will hold a briefing to explain the safety rules and techniques for leading the packraft, naturally after handing over thenecessary equipment (wetsuit, life jacket, helmet and paddle).
On board a single-seater inflatable mini dinghy, light but surprisingly robust, designed to tackle any type of aquatic environment, we will paddle with double paddles and move through the brisk current of the Serchio river.
During the route, which is 6 km long in total, we will face small rapids and take a break to enjoy a refreshing swim. Our packraft descent will end under the legendary Devil's Bridge, in a spectacular and scenic setting.
At the end of the activity, after about 2 hours of descent, we will return by van to the meeting point, where we will have toilets and changing rooms available.
Between transfer, briefing and descent, the duration of the experience is about 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity presents no particular difficulty and is aimed at everyone. The minimum age for participation is 14.
Minors must present a release form signed by a parent.
It is necessary not to exceed a weight of 100 kg, to be in good health and have good aquatic skills. The ability to swim is not required.
Other information
Packrafting is available from March to October, every day. The activity will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 4 participants.
The descent takes place in groups of a maximum of 10 people. If there are more than 6 participants, there will be two guides on the route, one preceding and the other following the group.
Upon request, a professional photo and video service can be added to the experience at a cost of €80.
You can leave your car in the car park at the indicated meeting point: from there, the association office is only a 3-minute walk away. Here you will find toilets and changing rooms where you can get ready for the tour and change at the end of the experience.
