The historic centre of Rieti has never been so... lively. And it is exclusively so with our packrafting experience!
Inflate your packraft, grab your paddle and venture into the splendid natural setting of the Velino and Salto rivers, following a certified guide. A route that alternates between calm and lively stretches, where you will not miss the opportunity to dive in for a swimming lesson in the current.

What we will do
I will be waiting for you at the selected time at the meeting point in Rieti (RI). I am your certified guide, who will accompany you on this packrafting experience! On your arrival I will hand you the necessaryequipment to proceed with the dressing up. We will then board a shuttle, which will take us to the boarding point in about 15 minutes.
At the point where our aquatic adventure will begin, we will inflate the packrafts. A briefing will then take place, during which we will provide you with all the information you need to carry out the activity without any worries. The route includes a calm first section, which will allow you to become familiar with the equipment and apply the controls correctly. The natural scenery in which we will paddle is that of the Velino river, one of the cleanest in Italy.
We will then reach the Cavallotti bridge, where we will be able to enjoy ourselves by tackling a small rapids that anticipate our entry into the city centre. Here the current will slow down, giving us the chance to admire the monuments of Rieti's historic centre. This will not be the end of it: we will then enter the Salto river, navigating it to the Giovanni XXII bridge.
Along the way, there will be a swimming stop near the rapids, where we will also have a real swimming lesson in the current, which will add an adrenalin rush to the experience!
And after paddling for 5 km, we will finally return to the meeting point with a 5-minute shuttle transfer. We will then have spent 1.5 hours on the dinghy, for a total experience of around 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from the age of 18, with a maximum weight of 110 kg.
To participate in this activity, it is necessary to know how to swim; good physical fitness is required given the possibility of ending up in the river current.
People with cardiovascular or neuromuscular diseases cannot participate in this activity.

The experience takes place every weekend from May to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
The activity takes place subject to weather and water conditions at the organiser's discretion.
The duration of the experience may vary depending on the number of participants.
The activity takes place on board individual dinghies.
A changing room with toilet facilities is available at the meeting point. You are asked to leave any personal belongings in the car, while a safe place to store your keys will be provided on site.
Any accompanying persons may remain at the meeting sports centre.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
