Saddle up for a scenic horseback ride in Ragusa and rediscover your love of nature!
This is a unique opportunity to get to know your horse, brush up on the basic manoeuvres to manage it independently and, at the same time, admire the beauty of the Ragusa countryside.
In fact, the 2-hour horseback ride will take you to a panoramic area, from which you will be able to observe a suggestive scenery overlooking the sea. The activity is suitable for participants with a minimum of experience.
What we will do
We will meet at the time selected at the time of booking at the Ragusa stables, where we will get to know not only our guide, but also the splendid horses with whom we will be walking.
During the briefing we will approach the animal and learn how to handle it with a few simple commands. Afterwards, we will leave the riding arena.
We will ride about 12 km on horseback along natural paths that allow us to fully appreciate the beauty of the landscape around us. The horse-riding guide will lead us along lanes, beaten roads and the typical 'trazzere', the most important communication routes in Sicily in feudal times.
We will also pass through an abandoned stone quarry and an old masseria until we reach a scenic area from which the sea is visible. We will thus immerse ourselves in the history and nature of the place before returning to the riding school.
The total duration of the experience is 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to everyone over the age of 14. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
A minimum of experience in handling and leading a horse is required to participate. It is not required to be able to master the different gaits, but it must be borne in mind that the course has some gradients and can therefore be challenging.
The weight limit is 110 kg.

The activity is available all year round, every day, and will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 2 participants.
The location is in open country, so it is not possible to reach it by public transport.
