Have you ever dreamed of flying over the Salento sea? Turn this desire into reality with an exciting parasailing experience in Torre Vado!
Attached to a parachute towed by a boat and under the supervision of an instructor, you will climb up to a height of 60 metres to admire the unique panorama of the Salento coastline.
It will be about 15 minutes of flight and pure adrenaline: get ready to change your perspective!
What we will do
We will meet in Torre Vado (LE), 15 minutes before the scheduled time. Here we will meet our instructor and skipper, board the boat , and head for the ideal parasailing area, depending on wind conditions.
Once the perfect spot is reached, the instructor will call the participants in turn to prepare for the flight. We will put on the harness and position ourselves in the launch area, where we will have a briefing to receive all the necessary instructions.
Then it will be time to take off! The parachute inflated by the wind and towed by the boat will lift us gently into the air, up to a height of 60 metres, giving us a dizzying view of the sea at Torre Vado and the beautiful Salento coastline. We can choose to fly alone, in pairs, three or four, depending on our total weight.
The flight will last about 15 minutes, the perfect amount of time to enjoy a mix of adrenaline and fun, and allow us to admire the landscape from an unusual perspective. The return takes place safely directly on the boat, with the winch slowly rewinding the cable.
The activity will end with the return to the harbour, lasting about 45 minutes in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable from the age of 3. Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied on the boat by an adult.
To participate in the activity, the total weight must not exceed 220 kg. In the case of a double, triple or quadruple flight, the sum of the weights of all participants must be within this limit.
Other information
The experience takes place from mid-May to October.
The boat used is a Mercan fibreglass boat designed for parasailing (between 7 and 9 metres, depending on the model used). One gets on board without shoes.
The instructor will take photos of the experience with his own or the participants' phones and share them after the activity.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; there is a pay car park on site.
