Zipline "The flight of the peregrine falcon" in the province of Latina: single flight

What we will do

The zipline facility is located in Rocca Massima, in the province of Latina, in the Lepini Mountains. Upon arriving at the facility, you will be welcomed by instructors who will provide you with the equipment to wear and all the instructions for a safe experience. When it is your turn, you will be harnessed and secured to the pulley and you will launch yourself into the void by sliding on the 2,225-metre steel cable.

You will start from a height of 730 m to reach the arrival ramp at an altitude of 380 m in less than two minutes. During the descent you will reach 310 m above the ground, travelling at an average speed of 110 km/h with peaks of up to 172 km/h. You will fly like a rocket, or rather, like a peregrine falcon, a bird of prey very common in the Lepini Mountains which, with its 300 km/h reached in a dive, is considered the fastest animal in the world.

You will fly alone, in a prone position keeping your arms along your body, so as to have maximum aerodynamics and the least friction with the air. Upon arrival, an instructor will help you remove the harness and you can return to your starting point with the free shuttle service provided by the facility.

The total duration of the activity takes into account preparation and waiting times for the turn and may vary depending on the number of participants. The actual flight duration is less than 2 minutes. The estimated waiting time for the return shuttle is approximately 40 minutes.

Who it is aimed at

This activity is at an easy level and is open to everyone. No specific skills are required, apart from a normal psycho-physical condition, a weight between 40 and 120 kg and a strong desire to experience thrills.

If authorised by a parent or guardian, minors may also fly. Children under the age of 13 must be collected by their parent at the arrival ramp.

Attention. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your flight time.

This activity is bookable from March to November, subject to availability, on the dates indicated in the calendar.

You fly one at a time, leaving 4 minutes apart. If you wish to fly alongside another person, you can book a couple flight.

Filming with a GoPro is permitted during the flight. You can use your own or rent it from the hotel for 20€ or 15€ if you bring your own sd card. You can also rent the mount for 5€ (to be paid on site).

Upon presentation of the ticket or booking confirmation of the first flight, it will be possible to make a second flight on the same day at the reduced price of 15€ and a third flight at the price of 10€, subject to availability.
