You will also fall in love with the rock. At first glance it may seem hard, but in reality it is very welcoming.
Get to know it by spending an introductory climbing day in one of the best climbing spots in the Val di Fassa, carefully selected by our Alpine Guide. Depending on your starting level, learn the basics or refine your technique thanks to the expert's advice.
And once you cross the finish line, enjoy a high-altitude lunch with a view of the spectacular Dolomite peaks!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at 08:30 at the meeting point near Campitello di Fassa (TN). Depending on the weather conditions and the level of the participants, I will choose the best climbing spot in the Val di Fassa which will be the backdrop to your venture.
After a short walk to the selected crag and handing over theequipment, our climbing introduction day will begin. Once we have become familiar with harness and rope, we will be ready to take our first steps on rock. At your side there will always be me, your mountain guide, providing constant support along the way.
If you are a beginner: you will become familiar with the equipment, get used to the height and learn the basics of rock climbing.
If you have previous experience: thanks to my advice you will refine your technique, becoming more efficient and faster.
During the course of the day there will be a lunch break to recharge your batteries before returning to rock climbing. You can enjoy a packed lunch brought from home or lunch at a nearby mountain hut (not included); either way, there will be views of the Dolomite peaks!
We will return to the meeting point at approximately 16:00; the experience lasts a total of 7½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 7. Younger children may participate if they have previous experience; please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to check.
Other information
The experience is available from June to September and is intended for private groups of up to 3 people.
Once you have received the e-mail confirming your booking, please contact the organiser at the contact details given to communicate your level. This is an introduction day to climbing for which no previous experience is required.
In case of bad weather the activity will take place inside the Campitello di Fassa climbing gym and you will have to pay the entrance fee on site (€13,00 adults; €7,00 children).
