Private horse riding in the Sciacca countryside

If you are looking for something different from classic horse riding, this experience is for you!

In Sciacca , our horse-riding guide will be waiting to introduce you to the world ofnatural horsemanship, where you will establish a deep connection with the horse and ride like never before as you discover the Sicilian countryside.

It will be anexclusive experience, during which you will be able to take a maximum of one other person with you, and thus enjoy the activity in total peace and safety!

What we will do

The appointment is 10 minutes before the time selected during booking at the meeting point in Sciacca (AG), where you will be welcomed by your equestrian guide ready to take you on this private horseback ride.

On your arrival you will find your horse already saddled and you will first get to know him by taking your first steps into the world ofnatural horsemanship, an approach based on kindness, patience and understanding of the animal. Afterwards, you will get on the saddle and try a couple of rides around the riding school grounds : when you feel ready, it will be time to venture out into the Sicilian countryside with your steed!

You will ride for about 10 km along a nature trail, crossing ancient Roman roads and admiring a landscape characterised by vineyards and centuries-old olive trees. Throughout the walk, your guide will follow you on horseback or on foot (depending on your level of experience) to ensure your safety and comfort.

After about 1½ hours of walking, you will finally return to the stables. The experience will last approximately 2 hours in total.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for ages 14 and up. Children under the age of 18 can participate independently by presenting an authorisation signed by a parent or guardian.

A maximum weight of 90 kg is required to participate.

The activity is of an easy level and also suitable for first-time horse riders.

Other information

Attention! To take part in the activity, it is compulsory to wear long trousers and closed-toe shoes; if this requirement is not met, the guide reserves the right not to carry out the activity.

The experience is available all year round.

There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

Any accompanying persons may follow the walk free of charge; any other accompanying persons may remain at the riding stables. Dogs are allowed at the riding stables.
