Private hot air balloon ride in Aosta

Then choose a private hot-air balloon flight over the highest mountains in Europe: it will be an experience that will leave you breathless! The hot-air balloon will be all yours and you can enjoy an hour's flight in one of Italy's most evocative locations in complete tranquillity.

You will fly on the wind, admire the surrounding landscapes and create unique memories.

What we will do

We will meet at the meeting point in Quart (AO) 20 minutes before the start of the activity

After checking in and a briefing of about 10 minutes, we will board the organisers' minibuses and off-road vehicles to reach the take-off point by a journey of about 10 minutes (service included). There are several take-off points around Aosta, the pilot in charge will check which is the best one to take off from in the morning.

The duration of the flight is approximately one hour, during which you will fly over the central valley of Aosta. Altitude and distance covered will vary depending on the winds.

During the flight, we will have the unique opportunity to see the highest mountains in Europe (Mont Blanc, Monte Rosa, Matterhorn and Gran Paradiso) from a unique viewpoint. Thealtitude reached during the flight is 2,000-3,000 metres and is optimal for a 360° view of both the valley below and the famous peaks.

After landing, we will fold up the balloon and return to the initial meeting point, where we will be given acertificate for our baptism of the air.

The activity lasts a total of about 3 hours, including the actual flight time.

Who it is aimed at

Hot-air ballooning is suitable for everyone from 7 years of age and above, with aminimum height of 120 cm. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult with parental consent.

The permitted weight limit is 110 kg; persons weighing more are required to pay a surcharge of 50% of the fare.

It is not possible to fly if:

• You have specific health problems, such as heart disease, severe back problems, bone deficiencies, hearing compensation problems or are pregnant.
• You cannot enter and exit the basket independently (you have to take one or two steps and pass one leg at a time over the parapet).
• You cannot maintain the correct position when landing, i.e. bend your knees and hold on to the handles.
• You are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

If you have any doubts, consult your specialist and, if necessary, bring a medical certificate stating that you are fit to fly in a hot-air balloon. It is important to remove any doubt about the state of your health, otherwise it could affect your safety and that of the other passengers.

Free parking spaces (also for camper vans) are available in the vicinity of the meeting point.

• the presence of any accompanying persons, who will be able to get into their vehicles during the transfers or follow them in their cars;
• the request for a balloon selfie, which you can purchase before the experience at a cost of €20.00 (optional service to be paid on site);
• any doubts about suitability for the flight.
