Celebrate aspecial occasion in a truly unforgettable way: a private hot-air balloon flight over the Tiber valley, among archaeological remains and enchanting Apennine landscapes.
You will fly over the Sabina hills, river terraces on the Tiber and thearchaeological site of Otricoli in the direction of the countryside surrounding the capital.
On board the hot-air balloon there will only be you, the pilot, and the people with whom you wish to share this wonderful experience!
What we will do
The meeting point is in Otricoli, not far from Magliano Sabina (RI). It will be early in the morning because the cool temperatures allow the hot air balloon to take off with ease!
Upon arrival, we will be greeted by the pilot and ground crew and will be able to watch the hot air balloon being prepared. We will then board the basket and be ready to take off.
The balloon's course will be decided by the currents of the day and, although the pilots' experience can predict it, it will never be exactly programmable: that is also the fascination of the balloon, relying on the wind!
Regardless of the route, we will fly over the Tiber valley, in the Otricoli and Sabina hills area, characterised by pre-Roman archaeological remains and hilly landscapes of great natural beauty. The flight will last from 40 to 60 minutes and we will reach an altitude of approximately 500 metres.
Once back on the ground, the crew will be waiting for us to take us back to the starting point by jeep, but only after a final moment in which we will toast the experience and enjoy a taste of typical local products!
The activity has a total duration of about 3.5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and open to everyone from 8 years of age upwards and with a minimum height of 120 cm. No special requirements are required, other than a good state of health.
Pregnant women, heart patients and those with walking problems are not allowed to fly.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time of the activity.
This activity is exclusive and is intended for private groups of 4 to 8 participants. If weather conditions are favourable, the flight can take place at any time of the year.
Dogs are not allowed on board the hot-air balloon.

The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
