Private hot air balloon ride in Todi over the Umbrian hills

During the 1-hour flight, you will be accompanied by experienced pilots, and upon landing you will be greeted by sumptuous refreshments including a bottle of prosecco and snacks, to toast to unforgettable memories.

What we will do

We will meet at the take-off point in Todi, at the time communicated before departure. Here we will take you to your private hot-air balloon and you will be able to watch the balloon inflate asdawn colours the sky.

When everything is ready, we will conduct a short briefing in which we will give you some pointers on how to enjoy the experience safely and then we will enter the wicker basket one by one.

Once up in the air, the wind will decide the direction of our journey through the sky, propelling the hot-air balloon over the scenery of the Umbrian hills. Each hot-air balloon flight is unique and unrepeatable, making it all the more special to experience together with loved ones.

Depending on the winds, we will be able to admire the most characteristic buildings of Todi from above, such as the Palazzo del Popolo, the Palazzo dei Priori and the Duomo. The bell tower of the church of San Fortunato will soar into the sky, while further down we will be able to see the Tempio della Consolazione, one of the most famous pieces of Renaissance architecture.

Moving away from Todi, the hills will appear dotted with a thousand colours, among cultivated fields, stone farmhouses and country roads, immersed in the stillness and silence of dawn.

After about one hour of flight, it will be time to land. Right at the landing point, you will find delicious refreshments waiting for you, served on a table laid with refined mise en place: crystal glasses, a bottle of prosecco in a silver-plated ice box and snacks will make your experience even more exclusive.

Finally, you will be driven back to the take-off point in a private Land Rover Discovery jeep, while the crew deflates the balloon.

The total duration of the experience, including briefing, balloon inflation and refreshments, will be 3 hours.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for everyone over 130 cm tall. Theminimum age requirement is 8 years.

For safety reasons, flying is not allowed for pregnant women, people with reduced mobility or injuries that prevent them from moving independently in and out of the wicker basket, people with heart problems and people who have recently undergone invasive surgery.

Other information

The flight takes place every day of the year, weather permitting. The landscapes that can be seen during the flight may vary, as the direction of the balloon trip depends on which way the wind is blowing.

Thetake-off time may vary depending on the period chosen. The day before the activity, you will receive confirmation from the pilot of the time and place of rendezvous.

You may take small items on board in a pouch. Backpacks and large cameras are not allowed, but it is possible to film with smartphones and small cameras.

A maximum of five people can be booked to ensure activity on the same balloon.

Animals are not allowed on board the balloon.
