You can't buy happiness, but you can rent a pair of snowshoes. And it's almost the same thing.
In Pinzolo, in the heart of the Adamello Brenta Natural Park, an exclusive 2½-hour snowshoe hi ke awaits you alongside a UIGAM Alpine Guide, perfect for those who want to discover the mountains without hurrying.
You will start from an altitude of 1, 800 metres, among coniferous forests, clearings and glimpses of the Brenta Dolomites and the Presanella group. Enchanted landscapes, where every step turns into a story to listen to!
What we will do
The appointment is at 9: 30 am at the meeting point in Pinzolo (TN).
You will be welcomed by the UIGAM Alpine Guide, a profound connoisseur of these mountains. Together you will take the cable car (ticket not included, to be paid on site) , which in about 10 minutes will take you to Malga Cioca, the starting point of the hike, at an altitude of 1, 800 metres.
After a briefing of about 10 minutes, you will receive snowshoes and poles (included) to begin your snow adventure. The snowshoe hike will take you along a half-hill road, a comfortable and gradual slope that runs northwards. You will move through mid-mountain coniferous forests and open glades, with panoramic views of the Brenta Dolomites and the Presanella Group.
The route will have an altitude difference of approximately 100 m uphill and 100 m downhill. Depending on the level of the group, you will cover approximately 6-7 km. You will make a few stops to observe the natural park environment, rich in fauna such as roe deer and chamois, and to listen to the guide's trivia and stories.
At the end of the snowshoe hike, you will take the cable car back to the starting point. The experience will last a total of 3 hours, with 2. 5 hours of actual snowshoeing.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 11 and up. Children under the age of 18 may participate alone, provided they are accompanied by a responsible adult at the meeting point.
The route is of an easy level and is ideal as a first snowshoe hi ke.
Other information
The experience takes place every day from 6 December to 6 April and is intended for private groups of up to 6 participants.
The cost of the cable car is not included in the fee: the return ski pass is €19 for adults and €13 for children, to be purchased directly at the ticket office before going up.
Duration and itinerary may vary according to snow and weather conditions or the ability of the group, at the guide's discretion.
Dogs are allowed, provided they are on a leash.
In the event of a lack of snow, the activity may be moved to a nearby location with better snow or converted into a trek, subject to the participants' agreement.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport. There is free parking on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
