Full description
Climb aboard a quad bike and set off to discover Cividale del Friuli and the Natisone Valleys for an evocative half-day excursion.
Admire the beauty of the eastern area of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, on the border with Slovenia, characterised by ancient villages, vineyards and splendid views.
Drive your four-wheeler on a mixed, scenic and fun route and don't miss the opportunity to experience the nature and culture of the area from a new point of view!
What we will do
We will meet at 9 a.m. in Buttrio (UD), a village located in the Colli Orientali del Friuli. Here we will meet the guide who will hand over the necessary equipment and give us a briefing on the safe driving of quads. After a few practical tests to get familiar with the vehicle, we will be ready to set off!
From Buttrio we will continue towards Cividale, a UNESCO heritage site thanks to its numerous monuments dating back to the Longobards. We will then head into the Natisone Valleys, which preserve naturalistic, cultural, gastronomic and historical peculiarities.
We will finally reach Castelmonte, the oldest sanctuary in Friuli, which stands on top of a hill on the border with Slovenia. Throughout the entire route we will be able to admire the wonderful views of Friuli, from the Alps to the plain.
The activity lasts about 3 and a half hours for a distance of 55 km, 65% gravel and 35% asphalt.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is at an intermediate level and requires experience in riding quads or motorbikes. Children aged 7 and under are also allowed as passengers. A B licence is required to drive the quad bike.
Other information
This activity is bookable from February to November, and is confirmed upon reaching 2 booked quads (if you do not reach the minimum number, you can join an already confirmed group).
The excursion takes place at weekends and on public holidays. On request, for large groups it is possible to organise the activity also on weekdays and/or to start at a different time from the one indicated, subject to the availability of the guide (contact us in private for more info).
The fee of 139€ is per quad. Each quad can carry 1 driver and 1 passenger (with the possibility of swapping driving). The centre has 5 quads for a total of 10 participants.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
