Full description
Saddle up on a quad bike and set off to discover the Friulian town of Palmanova, famous for its nine-pointed star plan.
An expert guide will lead you to discover the 'starry city', where you will have the opportunity to visit the military tunnels, the complex underground system of the fortress-city, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
On the way to Palmanova, you will cross the beautiful Friulian hills, dotted with characteristic villages and lush vineyards and flower-filled meadows. An excursion not to be missed to experience the area from a new point of view!
What we will do
We will meet at 9 a.m. in Buttrio, in the province of Udine. The guide will welcome us by handing over the necessary equipment and giving us a briefing on the safe driving of quads. We will then take a test drive to get familiar with the vehicle and be ready to set off.
Starting from Buttrio, we will cross the picturesque hills of Friuli to Clauiano, considered one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, and reach the walls of Palmanova. The tour also includes a visit to the military galleries, the complex underground system of the fortress that protected the city.
The activity lasts about 4 hours for a distance of 55 km, consisting of 40% dirt road and 60% asphalt.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is also suitable for those who have never ridden an ATV. Children from 7 years of age can also participate as passengers. A B licence is required to drive the quad bike.
Other information
This activity is bookable from February to November, and is confirmed upon reaching 2 booked quads (if you do not reach the minimum number, you can join an already confirmed group).
The excursion takes place at weekends and on public holidays. On request, for large groups it is possible to organise the activity also on weekdays and/or start at a different time from the one indicated, subject to the availability of the guide (contact us in private for more info).
The fee of 129€ is per quad. Each quad can carry 1 driver and 1 passenger (with the possibility of swapping driving). The centre has 5 quads for a total of 10 participants.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
