Full description
Do you know where the 'fiercest' stretch of the Arno is located? A stone's throw from Arezzo, where (as chance would have it) this very rafting descent takes place!
Listen to the guide's commands, practise your ability to work together in a group and complete an exciting 1.5-hour ride through natural rapids and panoramic views.
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Ponte Buriano-cincelli, a hamlet of Arezzo (AR) . We will be welcomed by the guide who will provide us with the necessary equipment.
On board a shuttle bus, we will reach the embarkation point in Giovi d'Arezzo. Here we will attend a 10-minute technical briefing , after which we will board the raft.
We will paddle for about 1. 5 hours on the wildest stretch of the Arno, through woods, hills and panoramic views. The route will be full of natural rapids, but there will also be informative stops with the possibility of swimming depending on the season.
The end of the route will coincide with the meeting point. The activity will last about two hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 8. Minors may participate with the signed authorisation of a parent.
To participate, it is recommended to know how to swim but not necessary as life jackets will be provided.
On request, the activity can also be adapted for people with mobility problems or in wheelchairs: contact the organiser at the contact details given in the confirmation email for more information.
Other information
The activity is available from November to May and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 6 participants.
The activity will be carried out on rafts with a capacity of approximately 6 persons .
Changing rooms and showers are available on site. Any personal belongings must be left in the car or watertight bags are available to store them in on request.
Dogs are not allowed during the activity.
Free parking is available on site and the meeting point can be reached by public transport.
During the weekend, it is possible to book refreshments at the Pro Loco of Castelluccio by contacting the organiser.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
