Experience the thrill and adrenaline of rafting on the Dora Baltea, one of the best-loved rivers for enthusiasts of this extraordinary water activity, especially from May to September, when it offers the best conditions for enjoying its rushing rapids.
The Classic Course is suitable for everyone and perfect for convivial and recreational events, corporate team building initiatives, bachelor/bachelorette parties, youth sports clubs and high schools.
We will tackle a 9 km stretch with the right mix of calmer moments, especially at the beginning, where we can practice and adrenaline-fuelled rapids where only through team effort will we be able to tame the river! Team spirit and togetherness with your guide are a prerequisite for an unforgettable experience.
What we will do
We set off from the rafting base in Morgex (AO) where the river is fast but not restless. The first three kilometres we practise trying out manoeuvres and coordinating the crew. On arrival at Lake La Salle we will experience the freshness of the water with a nice dive where we will discover how much fun it is to be carried away by the current.
We will then transfer with vans and carts to navigate the third degree rapids of Bombardon. During the last few kilometres of navigation, it will be possible for the crews to test themselves in the most exciting stretch of the river.
The activity lasts a total of 3 hours, including 1.5 hours of actual navigation!
Who it is aimed at
This course is very well balanced and is suitable for both first-timers and those who have already tried rafting. The minimum age is 14 years. Good water skills and no fear of water are required. One can participate with a weight under 125 kg.
Other information
Rain is never a problem, in fact it increases the water level and makes the river even more fun! Once you have finished your descent there will be a nice hot shower waiting for you!
Additional services to be requested on site from the instructor before starting the activity:
- photo service (on USB stick, €25 per crew)
- digital filming of excursions (full filming by email €20, customised video editing €30, price per crew)
You also have free access to thebarbecue and picnic area, with gas and shaded relaxation area (you can bring what you want to cook from home or, once your booking is confirmed, you will receive our contact details and we can arrange and take care of your lunch).
The centre is equipped with 12 hot showers and changing rooms for men and women, a video-monitored car park, free WiFi at our base and safe storage.
If you have a dog with you, you can leave it in the care of the rafting centre (free of charge).

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
