An exciting, safe and incredibly scenic rafting descent. The right opportunity for those who want to experience the thrill of rafting, but without overdoing it.
The Classic section winds along the lower part of the Dora Baltea river, in the Aosta Valley, among incredible natural landscapes and medieval castles. A perfect activity for those approaching rafting for the first time, but on a real mountain torrent!
What we will do
We will descend by rubber dinghy from the Enfer Gorge to the municipality of Aymavilles. The level of difficulty is medium, no special skills are needed, but a good physical condition is required.
The Classic descent represents the ideal approach to rafting in the Aosta Valley. The stretch of the Dora Baltea between the Enfer Gorges from Leverogne, in the municipality of Arvier, to our base at Aymavilles, represents the right compromise for an exciting and safe rafting experience, even for those who only look at the river from the bridge!
We will sail through unique landscapes, visible only by crossing the river, which are created in the canyon called de l'Enfer.
We will pass through natural scenery in a context charged with positive energy and true symbiosis with the nature of the Aosta Valley. The typical Valle d'Aosta castles will accompany us along the way; what is not typical will be our point of view! The experience lasts a total of 2.5 hours.

This activity is at an easy level and is suitable for everyone aged 16 and over.

Important: You must arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the time chosen for the activity!

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
