Full description
Experience the thrill of Rafting on the Noce River in Trentino, one of the most popular places for fans of this fantastic water discipline. With the Classic descent, you will navigate on one of the most enjoyable stretches of the river and suitable for everyone, even beginners and families with children.
You'll have fun in total safety and, accompanied by experienced and certified guides, you'll tackle rapids and stretches where the current runs wild. Between one splash and another, you will admire the splendid mountain landscape of Val di Sole on a day that will be a perfect mix of nature, sport and fun!
What we will do
We’ll meet 15 minutes before the selected time at the rafting centre in Commezzadura, in the province of Trento. Here, we’ll be welcomed by the guides, who’ll provide us with all the necessary equipment and explain the basic rules and safety guidelines for the activity. At this point, we’ll be ready to dive into the fantastic world of rafting! We’ll board the centre’s shuttle bus and head off together to the banks of the River Noce.
Before setting off, we’ll have a short theory session to learn how to use the paddle properly and then… Let the adventure begin! The descent will take place on the upper reaches of the river, along a route suitable for everyone, featuring easy sections to build confidence at the start, which gradually become more and more exciting and fun. We’ll also experience the adrenaline rush of the rapids – an essential part of rafting – and, of course, there’ll be plenty of opportunity to admire the stunning surrounding mountain scenery.
The activity lasts a total of 2 hours, of which about 1. 5 hours are spent on the water, and ends with the return to the rafting centre.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is also suitable for beginners and families with children from 5 years old.
Other information
The activity generally takes place from April to September. Timetables may vary slightly depending on the rafting centre’s organisational requirements. Pre-booked groups of at least four people may request to take part at times other than those indicated.
Important!
- The price for children applies to those up to 1 metre 50 in height.
- When approaching the most challenging rapids, children will be asked to disembark from the raft to transfer to a shuttle boat accompanied by centre staff; they may then re-board the raft or be taken back to the centre to wait for their parents to arrive.
- Each rubber dinghy can carry a maximum of 6 people if they are living together or belong to the same pre-formed group; a maximum of 4 people if they are strangers.
You can leave all valuables in the office at the meeting point. You’ll have the chance to purchase the photos taken during the descent on the spot, but remember to let the instructor know before the activity begins!
At the centre, you’ll have access to a five-a-side football pitch and a volleyball court, a lovely picnic area by the river, restaurants and pizzerias offering special rates, and a small, charming farm with donkeys, rabbits and goats – much to the delight of the little ones and animal lovers alike!
