If you are looking for strong emotions, adrenaline and contact with the environment, a rafting experience on the Stura di Demonte river, in the province of Cuneo, is the activity for you!
Cross the rapids of the river with the help of a paddle, face the rushing current and overcome natural obstacles following the indications of the expert guide who will be at the head of the raft.
You will be faced with theunpredictability of nature, are you ready to challenge its power together with your teammates?
What we will do
We will meet 30 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Gaiola (CN). There we will get acquainted with the guide who will captain us on this adventure and, first, we will have a briefing on paddling techniques and safety rules.
When we are ready, we will don our wetsuits and embark on the dinghy to begin our navigation on the Stura di Demonte river. We will paddle in its clear waters, alternating lively stretches with rapids, waves and splashes with quieter stretches where we can contemplate the wonderful natural views.
It will take about two hours to paddle a 6 km stretch of river. At the end, the rafting centre's vehicles will take us back to the village, where we can continue the day relaxing, perhaps with a refreshing dip in the pool!
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is suitable for everyone from 6 years old and up. No previous experience is required, just good aquatic skills.

This activity can be booked from May to September and is confirmed when there are at least 4 participants.
All rafting centre facilities are available, including showers, changing rooms and swimming pool.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
