Full description
Live anadrenalin-fuelled experience on a raft, face the current of a raging river and tame the frothy rapids with paddle strokes, immersing yourself in the splendid natural scenery of the Cilento Park in Campania.
An instructor certified by the Italian Rafting Federation will take you on a special adventure in the Regional Reserve of the Tanagro and Sele Rivers, in the province of Salerno, teaching you the techniques of classic rafting and making you fall in love with this discipline.
Rafting is anactivity suitable for everyone: families with children, groups of friends, team building and anyone who wants to have fun right up to the last splash!
What we will do
We will meet at the rafting centre in Postiglione, in the province of Salerno. We will meet the rest of the group and theinstructor, who will hand over theequipment and instruct us on the basic techniques and safety rules to keep on the raft. After that, we will move by minibus to the starting point of the route, about 10 minutes away.
The route we will follow runs through the northern part of the Cilento-Alburni-Vallo di Diano Park, particularly in the Foce Sele Tanagro Regional Reserve, in a protected area of great natural interest. The activity is defined as class II (on the White Water scale from I to IV): fun but not stressful. There will be water games, dinghy races, aquatic and buoyancy tests in the current and, of course, during the descent we will not miss the opportunity to admire the breathtaking views of the area.
Once the trip is over, we will return to the rafting centre by minibus. The activity lasts a total of 3 hours, including 1½ hours in the water.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is of an easy level and suitable for everyone from 6 years old and up. It is not necessary to have rafting experience, but aquatics and good physical condition are required.

Attention! Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance.
The activity takes place from April to October at the times indicated in the calendar and is confirmed when there are at least 5 participants.
The centre is equipped with changing rooms and an outdoor shower.
Accompanying persons are welcome: a shaded picnic area with barbecue is provided for them (free use for activity participants, paid use for accompanying persons.
Photos of the activity can be purchased (to be requested and paid for on site).
