Full description
Discover the unspoilt nature ofUmbria and enjoy a rafting descent on the Corno river in the Valnerina. Paddling in clear waters, you will immerse yourself in a wild environment, rich in vegetation and breathtaking views.
On board the raft you will overcome rapids and cross the Biselli Gorge, where the river runs narrow between high, sheer rock walls.
Team up with the rest of the crew and listen to the guide's commands to sail fast towards your destination and enjoy this adventure to the fullest!
What we will do
We will meet at the rafting centre in Vallo di Nera (PG), a small medieval village nestled in the green Valnerina valley. We will meet the guides who will accompany us in the activity, we will be provided with all thenecessary equipment, and then we will move by shuttle to Serravalle di Norcia, where the embarkation point on the Corno river is located.
Before embarking, we will have a technical briefing on basic rafting manoeuvres and safety rules. Then everyone in their seats and ready to go!
This rafting trip on the River Corno is an exciting experience that allows you to discover hidden corners and immerse yourself in the rich Umbrian nature. We will navigate for 7 km between foaming rapids and stretches of flat water.
The most suggestive point will be the crossing of the Biselli Gorge, high rock walls overhanging the river. Here you will discover natural caves, ravines and sheltered beaches where you can stop for a few souvenir photos and enjoy the surroundings.
Taking into account travel and preparation, the activity will last about three hours in total, including two hours of actual rafting. Back at the base, we will be able to use the showers and changing rooms.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level. It is not necessary to know how to swim or to have previous experience. Families with children from 3 years of age can also participate.
Other information
Attention! Please arrive at the rafting centre half an hour before the departure time.
This activity can be carried out from April to September, weather permitting, and is confirmed when there are at least 4 participants.
At an additional cost of 20€ you can purchase photos and videos of the experience on an SD card (10€ if you provide the SD card).

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
