Full description
Set off on a fun rafting adventure that will take you to discover the Dora Baltea, the main river in the Aosta Valley.
You will experience the thrills of rafting, paddle along with the rest of the crew and enjoy nature and the landscape, refreshing yourself with a few splashes of fresh water.
Experienced guides will lead you throughout the entire trip, so you can enjoy the waves, the final waterfall, and points of the river that hold real surprises in store. A perfect experience for families and children!
What we will do
We will meet in the municipality of Pré-Saint-Didier, in the province of Aosta at 13:00. Once the group is formed, we will be explained in detail how the day will unfold. Afterwards, the guides will give a lecture on river safety and the rules of behaviour to be adopted during the experience. The briefing takes about 15-20 minutes.
We will be given the nautical and safety equipment , which consists of booties, wetsuit and neoprene jacket that we can wear in the centre's changing rooms. Then we will also be given a helmet and life jacket.
Each team is assigned its own guide, who will demonstrate the various manoeuvres and help the group perfect the movements to be performed in the river. Embarkation takes place at the base. No movement will be necessary; we will simply put our raft in the water and be ready to go.
We will cross the first rapid, after which we will go down the Express descent, ideal for children and families. Children will be able to skip the first section and will be accompanied by staff further downstream, where we will retrieve them and continue all together.
Despite the low difficulty of the route, it will still be anincredibly fun experience for adults too: there will be big waves, a final waterfall, and several spots that will provide excitement and laughter for everyone.
At the disembarkation, vans will be waiting for us to take us back to the base, where we can change and take a hot shower. The activity lasts a total of two hours, including about 40 minutes of rafting.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is intended for all persons aged at least 6 years and a minimum height of 1.10 m.
It is suitable for families with children, but also for water-fearing adults who want to try this experience. It is not necessary to know how to swim to take part in this activity.
Other information
The activity takes place every day from May until 11 September.
The equipment is disinfected after each use.
A lawn for picnics and a BBQ area for barbecues are available at the centre.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
