Full description

Get ready for an unmissable aquatic adventure at the foot of Mont Blanc: the non plus ultra of rafting on the Dora Baltea, the longest and most adrenalin-pumping route on one of Europe's most impetuous rivers.

On board the raft, you will travel a good 17 km through grade III and IV rapids, surrounded by the breathtaking landscapes of the Aosta Valley.

Take advantage of the summer months and the abundant water flow to experience the thrills of rafting at its highest level!

What we will do

We will meet at the rafting centre in Morgex (AO ) at 10:00 am. On arrival we will be given all thenecessary equipment for the activity and we will move by shuttle to the embarkation point, from where our rafting adventure on the Dora Baltea river will begin.

Before boarding the raft, the guide will give a detailed briefing on safety regulations. The descent begins with a fairly calm first section, which will serve to get us together and coordinate the crew. Then the difficulty will gradually increase, guaranteeing more and more fun!

In the stretch between Prè Saint Didier and Sarre we will encounter very technical sections such as the rapids of Leverogne. Finally, we will face the most challenging stretch. In fact, the last 3 km are characterised by grade IV rapids, such as the Fontine rapids, a worthy conclusion to an adventure for real top players!

The route has a total length of 17 km and the activity takes about 5 hours (including transfers and briefing).

Who it is aimed at

This activity is suitable for rafting enthusiasts. You must be in good physical condition, have good aquatic skills and be at least 18 years old. You can participate if you weigh less than 125 kg.

Other information

This route can only be taken in June and July, when the water flow is greatest.

Rain is never a problem, in fact it increases the water level and makes the river even more fun! If, on the other hand, the river conditions are dangerous, we will inform you in good time. In this case it will be possible to arrange another date or receive a refund.

A photo and video service can be requested and paid for on site before the excursion. The costs are 25€ for photos on a USB stick, 20€ for full shots sent by email and 30€ for customised video editing (prices are per crew).

All nautical equipment is disinfected with professional products each time it is used to ensure maximum hygiene.

After the rafting descent, showers, changing rooms and the rafting centre'sbarbecue and picnic area are available free of charge.

If you have a dog with you, you can leave it in the care of the rafting centre (free of charge).
