Full description
If you love water sports and nature, you absolutely cannot miss this excitingrafting experience on the Dora Baltea and get ready to face rapids and big waves.
This activity is also ideal for beginners, but represents a real challenge, in which you can test yourself and your limits.
To make the experience even more spectacular, there will be the breathtaking panorama characteristic of the Valle d'Aosta, with lush vegetation and small villages rising up on the banks of the river. Put yourself to the test!
What we will do
We will meet in Pré-Saint-Didier in the Aosta Valley at the time selected during the booking process. The guides will give a 15-20 minute lesson on river safety, showing us how to sit on the raft and how to paddle.
We will be given clothing that we can wear in the changing rooms: footwear, wetsuit and neoprene jacket. Then we will retrieve helmets and life jackets. Each group will be assigned a guide to help perfect the movements.
Afterwards, we will embark on the river near the rafting centre. We will do a few more trials in the water and, when everyone is ready, we will begin our experience. We will cross the first rapid, called the "Good Morning". Right from the start, we will realise that it will be an absolutely fun ,fresh-water experience.
The Karma descent is among the most beautiful on the Dora Baltea. Fun and adrenaline on rapids and big waves are guaranteed, and along the way we will not be able to help but take a look at the spectacular landscapes typical of the Aosta Valley.
At the disembarkation point, vans will be waiting for us to take us back to the base, where we can take a hot shower and change in the changing rooms. The experience lasts a total of about 3½ hours, including 2 hours of actual rafting.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to anyone who is at least 18 years old.
The maximum permitted weight is 125 kg.
The activity is also suitable for a first rafting experience.
Other information
The activity takes place every day from May to September.
At the end of the activity we can view the photos taken by the photographer.
The equipment is disinfected after each use.
A lawn for picnics and aBBQ area for barbecues are available at the centre.
