Full description
Do you know where the 'fiercest' stretch of the Arno is located? A stone's throw from Arezzo, where (as chance would have it) this very rafting descent takes place!
Listen to the guide's commands, practise your ability to work together in a group and complete an exciting 1.5-hour ride through natural rapids and panoramic views.
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Rosano (FI) . We will be welcomed by the guide, who will provide us with the equipment, followed by a technical briefing.
From the meeting point we will move by shuttle bus to the embarkation point in Sant'Ellero, where our raft adventure will start!
We will paddle along the stretch of river leading to Pontassieve, in the Arno Valley, following the alternation of natural rapids and calmer stretches. There will also be informative stops with the possibility of swimming depending on the season.
The route will end near the meeting point after about one and a half hours. The activity will last about 2 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 8. Minors may participate with the signed authorisation of a parent.
To participate, it is recommended to know how to swim but not necessary as life jackets will be provided.
On request, the activity can also be adapted for people with mobility problems or in wheelchairs: contact the organiser at the contact details given in the confirmation email for more information.
Other information
The activity is available from November to May and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 6 participants.
The activity will be carried out on rafts with a capacity of approximately 6 persons .
There are no changing rooms or showers on site. Any personal belongings must be left in the car or watertight bags in which to store them are available on request.
Dogs are not allowed during the activity.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
