Are you ready to ditch the routine and paddle without breaking a sweat? Soft rafting on the Nera river is the perfect excuse to enjoy the Valnerina in chill mode : no crazy rapids, just slow slides through woods, meadows and rocks that will make you exclaim 'wow'.
In this experience you will face an easy 1-hour descent, suitable for everyone (yes, even the little ones) to get your fill of nature, laughter and relaxation in the company of your friends or family and - of course - a guide!
What we will do
We will meet 30 minutes before the time indicated at the time of booking at the rafting centre in Vallo di Nera, a small medieval village located in the heart of the Valnerina, in the province of Perugia.
We will meet the guides who will accompany us on the activity and prepare to embark by putting on our wetsuits and the rest of our equipment.
Before entering the water, we will have a detailed briefing on basic rafting techniques and safety rules. The planned route will be 5 km long and will take place on a stretch of the Nera River free of rapids and technical difficulties.
We will enjoy a relaxing and scenic 1-hour descent. On board the rubber dinghy, we will be able to admire the lush nature that characterises this corner of Umbria and enjoy the experience in a relaxed and peaceful manner.
At the end of the route, we will find a shuttle that will take us back to the base.
The activity will last about 1½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for ages 3 and up. Children up to the age of 14 participate at a reduced price, as indicated by the selectable option in the booking box.
The activity is of an easy level and also suitable for first-time rafters or families with children.
It is not necessary to know how to swim or have previous experience to participate.
Other information
The activity takes place from April to September, weather permitting, and is confirmed when there are at least 4 participants.
At an additional cost of €20.00, photos and videos of the experience can be purchased on an SD card.
Showers and changing rooms are available on site.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport. There is free parking on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
