Full description
Discover the thrills of rafting on the Sesia with a peaceful and scenic route that will allow you to admire the Valsesia landscapes from a new point of view.
Together with an expert guide, you will sail on the raft through the most suggestive points of the river in the Balmuccia stretch.
It will be a soft rafting descent that is not too challenging but very exciting, ideal for families with children to have fun all together in nature!
What we will do
We will meet in Balmuccia (VC). The guides will welcome us and give us all thenecessary equipment for rafting: wetsuit, waterproof jacket, helmet and life jacket.
Before boarding the rafts, we will have a briefing on paddle use and safety rules. Then we will finally be ready to take to the water!
We will sail along a quiet stretch of the Sesia, which will allow us to admire the verdant nature, populated by a precious ecosystem and framed by mountain peaks. We will travel along the river in its calmest waters, but there will be no shortage of fun between splashes and small waves.
When we reach the final point of the descent, we will disembark and find a shuttle that will take us back to the base. In total, the activity will last about 2 hours.

This activity is confirmed when there are at least 4 participants.
Like all river activities, rafting is subject to the river's hydrometric conditions and therefore the descent will only be confirmed if the water flow is adequate for the activity to take place safely.
It will be possible to request a photo and video service (shared via memory stick) at a cost of €35 per raft, which can be paid for directly on site. Alternatively, it is possible to rent a GoPro for the same price to shoot video footage of the experience.
