Full description
For your first scuba dive, choose the beautiful setting of the Costa Smeralda and enjoy anexciting experience, accompanied step by step by an experienced instructor.
You will dive like a real diver in the crystal-clear waters of the bay of Cannigione, in the north of Sardinia, reaching a maximum depth of 12 metres, just enough to understand what it's like in the wonderful underwater world!
So get ready to put on your wetsuit, mask, fins and scuba tank and dive into the blue!
What we will do
The activity takes place at the diving centre in Cannigione, in the province of Sassari, along the Costa Smeralda and a short distance from theMaddalena Archipelago, an area famous for the beauty of its seabed.
The instructor will welcome us and accompany us for the entire duration of the experience, introducing us to the way of divers and giving us all the instructions to perform the activity to the best of our ability. We will learn how to adjust and use the equipment, put on a wetsuit, fins, mask and tank, and then embark to reach the dive site, not far from the coast.
The dive will take place in calm water and last about 40 minutes, with the instructor diving with us and following our every move. As we become familiar with the new environment, we will be able to go deeper, up to a maximum of 12 metres.
At the end of the experience, we will have experienced at first hand the thrill of breathing underwater and discovering a tiny part of what lies beneath the seas. Should we wish to continue on the path to becoming real divers, at this point, we will be ready to begin a course for the Open Water Diver licence.
The activity has a total duration of about 3 hours, which varies depending on the number of participants.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is at an easy level and is suitable for anyone who wants to try diving for the first time. You must be able to swim, have good aquatics skills and be at least 8 years old.
Other information
This activity can be booked all year round, weather permitting.
For pre-arranged groups of at least 5 participants, the excursion can also take place in the afternoon, subject to instructor availability (contact us privately for more info).
The participation fee includes all equipment required for the dive.
At the end of the excursion, it is possible to use the diving centre's facilities, such as showers and changing rooms.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
