Have you ever wanted to drive a sled pulled by magnificent snow dogs in the splendid setting of the Trentino mountains?
Now you can make this dream come true thanks to the Sleddog Experience, a trial of driving a Husky pack.
Beautiful sled dogs await you in Lavarone, in the Altipiani Cimbri, in the province of Trento.
With the help of an expert instructor, you will let yourself be pulled through the soft snow by our four-legged friends, for an experience that will enchant children and entertain adults too!
What we will do
The meeting point for the activity is in Millegrobbe, in Lavarone (TN). In an incredible mountain setting, characterised by the nature of the Altipiani Cimbri, you will be welcomed by the guides of the sleddog centre, who will pass on all their passion for sled dogs and the mountains.
The experience begins with meeting and familiarising yourself with your four-legged friends. These are docile specimens of Alaskan Husky, trained and perfectly compatible with children. Especially for the little ones, it will be a real joy to be able to stroke them and come into contact with them!
This will be followed by an introductory briefing on the activity and instructions on behaviour and safety. After that, we will mount the sledge driven by 2 or 3 dogs and set off on a circumscribed course within the school boundaries. The instructor will follow us along the route and teach us how to give commands to the dogs, so that we will be the ones to make them stop and start again, giving us a first-handexperience of dog sledding.
The activity lasts about half an hour in total, including 20 minutes on board the sled.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is suitable for everyone. No special requirements are required. Children aged 10 and over can also participate.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes in advance.
This activity can be carried out in the winter months if there is sufficient snow.
Children may ride the sledge alone or with a parent, always in the presence of an instructor.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 31 days from the activity start date. Within 30 and 15 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
