You've probably already been snowshoeing in your life, but have you ever been 'snowmobiling'?
Join this fun winter adventure and drive through the snow in the white landscape of Madesimo and Montespluga, in the company of an experienced guide. During the tour you will recharge your batteries with lunch at a mountain hut, while enjoying the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
Motorcycling yes, but with gusto!
What we will do
The appointment is 30 minutes before 10:30 a.m. at the meeting point in Madesimo (SO).
The activity will begin with a short briefing in which the instructors will introduce us to driving the snowmobile, giving us a test drive to get familiar with the vehicle. Once the explanations are over, it will be time to kick off our snow adventure!
Starting from an altitude of 1550 m, we will reach the Cava, a panoramic point from which we will be able to admire the beauty of Madesimo, and then continue towards the Montespluga dam, completely covered in snow and ice. We will walk along the frozen lake and arrive at Montespluga, which lies just before the Swiss border. In all this we will be surrounded by the immensity of the mountain landscape, including larch forests, alpine pastures and tracks groomed in the snow.
During the excursion, we will take a break atLa Baitella refuge , where a full lunch will be waiting for us: starter, first course, main course, dessert, coffee, water and wine included. After lunch, we will return by snowmobile to the initial meeting point, which is about 15 minutes away.
The tour will end around 14:30 for a total duration of 4 hours, of which approximately 1.5 hours will be spent driving the snowmobile.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 18 years old and have a B licence. The passenger must be at least 3 years old. No experience is required, but one must be able to handle the vehicle safely and with concentration. The organisers reserve the right to ask the participant to take part in the activity as a passenger instead of a driver.
Children up to 6 years of age can ride on the same snowmobile as their parents (for a total of 3 people on the snowmobile) , paying the reduced rate of €20. 00 per child on site. Please contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate the presence of a child under 6 years of age.
The excursion is not suitable for pregnant women.
The excursion is easy and does not require snowmobile driving experience.
Other information
The experience takes place on Thursdays from January to March and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 3 snowmobiles.
Driver and passenger can swap driving during the excursion if both have a B licence.

Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
