If you don't want to miss out on an unforgettable excursion, between ski slopes and snow-covered woods, just come to Madesimo and follow an expert guide to discover the area's most evocative scenery.

What we will do
Please arrive 20 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Madesimo (SO). Once there, we’ll meet the guide who’ll be taking us on this adventure!
Once all participants have gathered, we’ll proceed with the allocation of the snowmobiles. The guide will explain how to ride a snowmobile and provide all the information you need to ensure a worry-free experience. This will be followed by a short test ride to familiarise yourselves with the snowmobile.
Starting at an altitude of 1, 550 m, we’ll first travel along a perfectly snow-covered track, which is signposted and groomed daily by snowcats. The route will then open up to a marvellous panorama, passing through a picturesque forest of fir and larch trees, skirting ancient mountain huts and reaching an altitude of 2, 110 m.
Once at the summit, we’ll stop to admire the scenery around us: to the south, we’ll see the Val Chiavenna with Madesimo in the foreground; to the west, the Ferrè glacier overlooking Lake Montespluga; to the north, a rare green beola quarry; and to the east, the Bertacchi mountain hut.
After a souvenir photo and a quick chat, we’ll hop back on the snowmobiles to return to the starting point. The whole experience lasts approximately 45 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 18 years old and hold a Category B driving licence. The passenger must be at least 2 years old. Children aged between 2 and 6 (inclusive) may ride on the same snowmobile as their parents (making a total of 3 people on the snowmobile) , paying the reduced rate of €25. 00 per child on the day.
The excursion is not suitable for pregnant women.
The excursion is classified as easy and is suitable as a first snowmobile excursion. No experience is required, but participants must be able to handle the vehicle safely and with concentration. The organisers reserve the right to ask a participant to take part in the activity as a passenger rather than as a driver.

The experience takes place from December to March.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
