Aperitif, toast, happy hour. From now on, this moment of the day will have a new (and unique) name: merenda sinoira!
Cold meats, cheeses and polenta are just some of the delicacies that form the basis of the Piedmontese snack awaiting you at the refuge. And it will be the right charge to tackle our evening snowshoe hike, in the suggestive snowy landscape of Sauze d'Oulx.
A3-hour experience, to end the day with a full heart and belly!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before 16: 00 at the meeting point in Sauze d'Oulx (TO). Awaiting us will be the Environmental Hiking Guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants, the equipment will be handed over, followed by an introduction during which we will receive all the useful information for a carefree experience.
We will then put on our snowshoes, grab our poles, and head to the nearby refuge where we will be welcomed for our aperitif: this will include local products such as salami, cheese, polenta and other delicacies from the traditional 'merenda sinoira' accompanied by an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink. In the meantime, we will enjoy the spectacle of the sunset from the panoramic terrace with a view of Mount Chaberton and Mount Seguret!
At the end of the aperitif, with full belly and energy, we will be ready to embark on our evening snowshoe hi ke: we will venture down a downhill path, through a dark but scenic larch forest. The environmental hiking guide will not fail to tell us anecdotes about the flora and fauna of the area.
After walking about 5 km, we will finally return to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 6 and up. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for a first snowshoeing trip.
Other information
The experience takes place from December to March and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 4 participants.
The timing, duration and itinerary may vary depending on a number of factors at the guide's discretion.The route may include an ascent by chairlift.
Dogs are not allowed.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
