Full description
Have you ever looked at a mountain landscape and said "WOW! "?
Well, this snowshoe hi ke is capable of leaving you speechless! It lacks nothing: snow-covered expanses, dreamy panoramas, the silence of nature and the tales of an area waiting to be discovered.
If you don't accept anything less than 'wow'. .. don't miss this 5-hour adventure in the Conca dei Campelli in Schilpario!
What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in Schilpario (BG), where our guide will be waiting for us.
After an initial welcome, we will be given the equipment we need for the hike (snowshoes and poles not included and for hire) and attend a short briefing to learn how to use it. After that, we will start the adventure in Val di Scalve, which is nestled between the Orobic Alps.
Following the guide, we will cross the Conca dei Campelli and discover many interesting facts about the area and admire magnificent views. We will alternate between wooded and snowy stretches and, after about 2 hours, we will stop for lunch. If we wish, we can stop at a refuge to eat something (service not included) and rest. Otherwise, we can bring a packed lunch.
After a break of about 1 hour at an altitude of 1, 900 metres, we will resume snowshoeing until we return to the starting point.
In total, the route will be 8 km with a difference in altitude of 350 m and the activity, including the lunch break, will last 5 hours.
