The Saona Valley is a gem waiting to be explored. Preferably, by snowshoeing!
Experience asnowshoeing excursion in the mountains of Piamprato and let yourself be led to discover the Gran Paradiso National Park by following the steps of the guide.
Thissnow adventure will give you the most magical 3½ hours ever!
What we will do
The meeting will take place at the meeting point in Valprato Soana (TO), at the time indicated in the booking. We will be welcomed by our expert guide!
We will take a few minutes to settle in and familiarise ourselves with the activity: we will take part in an introductory briefing, during which the guide will teach us how to walk with snowshoes, so that we can enjoy the experience without worries and in safety.
At this point, we will be ready to set off on our snow adventure! We will be snowshoeing surrounded by breathtaking views, immersed in the wonderful scenery of the Gran Paradiso National Park.
Along the way, about halfway along the route, we will stop for a short break near the "Big Bench", a giant bench that we are sure will feature in all our most beautiful photographs!
Snowshoeing in the snow, we will finally reach the Rifugio Ciavanassa for a half-hour break, with the possibility of enjoying a snack (not included). From here, the view of the Piamprato mountains will be truly enchanting!
The route is about 5 km long and has a maximum altitude difference of 300 metres. The total duration of the experience will be about 3½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 8 years of age.
Children under the age of 18 participate accompanied or by presenting a signed release form.
The activity is not suitable for persons with reduced mobility or pregnant women.
Other information
The activity is available from December to April, and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
Dogs are allowed if on a leash.
If there is no snow, it will be possible to carry out the activity as a trek: the organiser will contact you to propose an alternative and agree on how to carry out the experience.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport. Free parking is available on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
