Full description
Imagine walking on fresh snow, enveloped in the magical silence of the forest... If you have never experienced snowshoeing, this is the activity for you: a half-day snowshoe hike in Alta Val di Susa, in the Campo Smith area.
It will be a simple route suitable for everyone, in search of tracks in the snow and in contact with the purity of the mountain. An alpine guide and/or environmental hiking guide will accompany you on a walk of up to 5 km.
Snowshoes for everyone, here we go!
What we will do
We will meet around 10 a.m . at the Campo Smith ski resort in Bardonecchia. Here we will be given our snowshoes (included) to attach to our boots and meet the mountain guide and/or environmental hiking guide who will lead the group.
Putting on our snowshoes, we will be ready to start our nature walk. We will cross coniferous, larch, spruce and Scots pine forests, stopping to observe delicate tracks in the snow and to guess the animals that have crossed our path. The crunching of snow under our snowshoes will break the enchanted silence of nature.
Depending on the snow conditions, the guide will choose the most suitable route, always remaining in the peaceful basin of Bardonecchia in the Upper Susa Valley. We will snowshoe for a maximum of 5 km, with a maximum altitude difference of 150/200 m: this will make the walk fun for adults and children alike!
At the end of the hike we will return to Campo Smith to return the snowshoes. The total duration of the activity will be about 3 hours.

This hike is at an easy level and open to everyone from 8 years old.
Other information
The activity takes place every day from December to April, subject to snow and weather conditions, and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the starting time.
The starting point is easily accessible by public transport.
Dogs are not allowed.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
