Join us for a half-day snowshoe hi ke in Case di Viso and enjoy the enchanting mountain scenery in winter!
Snowshoeing is always a beautiful experience, but the setting of Case di Viso is unique. It is in fact a truly picturesque village, famous for its characteristic huts and atmosphere.
A charming village surrounded by nature awaits you for anunforgettable snowshoe hike in the company of an expert guide.
What we will do
We will meet in Pezzo, in the municipality of Ponte di Legno (BS), 15 minutes before 10:30 am. We will be met by our guide who, after a quick briefing on the route, will hand us our snowshoes (not included and available for hire on site).
Once we are ready, we will set off on our hike at around 10.30am. The route, which is simple and suitable for everyone, winds its way through the picturesque snow-covered slopes of theupper Val Camonica for a total of around 9.5 km. The difference in altitude of 400 metres makes the route accessible even to those who have never worn snowshoes, allowing us to enjoy the walk without worries. Immersed in a fairy-tale landscape, we will cross silent forests and wide open spaces, breathing in the fresh, pure air of the winter mountains.
Our destination will be the picturesque alpine village of Case di Viso, situated 1753 metres above sea level. This little gem is famous for its characteristic masonry huts, dating back to the early 19th century, which look like something out of an old-fashioned postcard. Here we can stop to enjoy the charm of this place, take photos and admire the snowy landscape around us.
The excursion will last a total of five hours and will end with a return to the starting point.
Who it is aimed at
Suitable for everyone over the age of 12. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult; the presence of at least 1 adult for every 3 underage participants is mandatory.
Other information
The activity takes place from January to April on the dates indicated in the calendar and is confirmed when the minimum number of 8 participants is reached.
The guide will contact you 2 days before the date of the experience for more information on the meeting point. There is free parking on site; the meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
It will be possible to bring your own snowshoes or to hire snowshoes and poles at a cost of €12 (to be paid on site on the day of the snowshoeing).
Dogs are not allowed on the experience.
