Immerse yourself in the evocative winter landscapes of the mountains with asnowshoe hike in Prato Nevoso, in the Cuneo Alps.
Snowshoes on your feet, you will explore the best hiking trails in the company of an expert guide, climbing up to an altitude of about 2,000 m to admire a magnificent panorama and breathe in the pure mountain air.
Get ready for a peaceful hike in the snow that will let you get in touch with the most authentic side of nature!
What we will do
We will meet at 9:30 a.m. in Prato Nevoso (CN ) and after an introductory briefing with the guide, we will be given snowshoes and poles (included in the participation fee).
Here we will take the "La Rossa" gondola and climb up to an altitude of about 2,000 metres to continue in the direction of the Balma Refuge and Malga delle Scalette. Along the way we will cross enchanting snow-covered paths, admiring the mountain peaks framed in winter colours.
On reaching the Malga delle Scalette hut, we will then follow the same route back, stopping at the most beautiful and panoramic points to take a few photos. After about two and a half hours of snowshoeing, we will then stop at Chalet il Rosso, a charming mountain hut with panoramic views. Here we can relax and enjoy a typical lunch with polenta, water and coffee (lunch is included in the participation fee).
The activity lasts a total of 4 hours.

This activity is at an easy level and is open to everyone from 8 years old and up.
To participate in this activity, the maximum weight is 100 kg; if you weigh 80 kg or more, please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to communicate your weight.
