Imposing peaks, snow-covered valleys, frozen lakes: with snowshoeing at Lake Arpy, you can immerse yourself in an enchanted atmosphere.
A wonderful walk in fresh snow is ideal for getting in touch with the unspoilt nature of the Alps and breathing in the pure mountain air. Surrounded by majestic peaks, you will have an unforgettable experience in the company of an experienced guide.
By walking through the stupendous Arpy valley, on a gentle path with an altitude difference of about 250 m, you will reach the lake of the same name, which offers a privileged view of the Massif du Blanc. A breathtaking panorama that only the mountains can offer.

What we will do
The meeting is at 10 a.m. in Morgex, about 30 km from Aosta. The guide will provide the group with all the information on the route and theuse of snowshoes (included). After this briefing, we will get straight into the heart of the hike, taking the path that will lead us to Lake d'Arpy at an altitude of 2066 metres.
Lake d'Arpy is a splendid glacial lake, a few kilometres from Mont Blanc, set in a beautiful alpine context. The water is crystal clear, with iridescent shades from blue to emerald green and, like a mirror, reflects the surrounding peaks.
Going through the stupendous Arpy valley, on a path with a difference in altitude of about 250 m, we will be able to reach the lake of the same name, which will give us a privileged view of the Massif du Blanc. An excursion among coniferous forests and emotions that only nature can give.
After a stop to admire the landscape and recharge our batteries, we will set off on our return journey. The activity will last approximately 3 hours.

The excursion is bookable every Sunday from December to March, subject to snow and weather conditions, and is confirmed with a minimum of 8 participants.
