Do you know Pian dell'Azaria? Mario Rigoni Stern called it the most beautiful place in the world!
Come snowshoeing for 4 hours in the splendid setting of the Saona Valley, inside the Gran Paradiso National Park!
Follow your expert guide along unique itineraries suitable for everyone. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
The meeting will take place at the meeting point in Valprato Soana (TO), at the time indicated in the booking. Awaiting us will be our guide, ready to take us on anadventure in the snow!
Before setting off, the guide will hold a quick briefing for our group, during which we will learn how to walk with snowshoes, so that we can carry out the experience without worries and in safety.
Afterwards, we will head towards Pian dell'Azaria, defined by the famous writer Mario Rigoni Stern as a true paradise on earth. Along the route, completely immersed in the Gran Paradiso National Park, we will come across some traces of the writer, including a trunk with his books.
The guide will stop at these attractions to tell us stories and curiosities about Mario Rigoni Stern, his life and the places that accompanied him during the years of his precious literary production.
The route is about 6 km long and has a maximum altitude difference of 300 metres. The experience will last a total of about 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 8 years of age.
Children under the age of 18 participate accompanied or by presenting a signed release form.
The activity is not suitable for persons with reduced mobility or pregnant women.
Other information
The activity is available from December to April, and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
Dogs are not allowed.
In the absence of snow, it will be possible to carry out the activity as a trek: the organiser will contact you to propose an alternative and agree on how to carry out the experience.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport. Free parking is available on site.
