Venture into the snowy setting of Bousson, on the border between Italy and France!
It is precisely in this setting that our snowshoe hike takes place: in the company of an Environmental Hiking Guide, you will walk for 3 hours through pine and larch forests and ancient marble quarries.
You will follow the footprints of animals in the area and, with a bit of luck, you might even meet them!
What we will do
The appointment is at 09: 30 at the meeting point in Bousson, a hamlet in the municipality of Cesana Torinese (TO) . We will be welcomed by our Environmental Hiking Guide, who will accompany us on this adventure in the snow!
After an initial presentation, we will receive the necessary equipment and useful information for the experience. We will put on our snowshoes, hold our poles and begin our snowshoeing.
We will then go into pine and larch forests, cross clearings and follow the tracks of the animals that inhabit the area: with a bit of luck we may spot deer, roe deer, foxes and even eagles! Weather permitting, we will pass by the area of the green marble quarries, which are no longer in use: a historical curiosity that will enrich our route!
After walking about 5/6 km with an altitude difference of 300 m, we will return to the meeting point. The snowshoe hi ke will last 3 hours; the total experience will last 3 hours and 15 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The excursion is of an easy level and suitable for a first snowshoe hike.
The route is also suitable for those who suffer from vertigo.
Other information
The experience takes place from December to March and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 5 participants.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
The venue may vary depending on weather conditions at the guide's discretion; the alternative venue may be approximately 10 km (15 minutes by car) away from the one currently indicated.
Leashed dogs may participate in the experience.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
