Come for a walk in the snow?
Join a fun snowshoe hike in Pian di Gembro, just a few minutes from Aprica, in a protected nature reserve that will enchant you with its snowy landscapes.
A 2-hour experience in the company of an Alpine Guide, perfect for experiencing the mountains without hurrying!
What we will do
The appointment is 5 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Pian di Gembro, near Aprica (SO) . Here we will meet the Alpine Guide, who will accompany us throughout the hike.
Before setting off, we will attend an initial briefing: the guide will present the route, give safety instructions and hand us our snowshoes.
We will then begin the snowshoe hike along a loop inside the Pian di Gembro Nature Reserve, a protected oasis famous for its peat bog. The route will alternate between sections in the woods and snow-covered mule tracks, always on easy terrain with no exposure.
We will walk at an altitude of 1, 350 metres, covering approximately 5 km with an altitude difference of 200 metres. The pace will be leisurely, with stops along the way to observe the natural environment and listen to the guide's stories.
At the end, we will return to the starting point to conclude the experience after about 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from 8 years of age. Minors must be accompanied by an adult; the minimum size of snowshoes available is 35.
The activity is of an easy level and ideal as a first snowshoe hike.
Other information
The experience takes place from December to February on Saturdays and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 5 participants.
Attention! In order to participate, it is mandatory to be equipped with avalanche safety devices (ARTVA, shovel and probe), which are not included in the cost of the activity. For those who are not in possession of them, these devices can be rented from specialised shops before departure; they are not available for hire on site.
Dogs are allowed on a leash.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport; there is free parking on site.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
