Do you see it too? This is not a hallucination!
Oh no, we are not talking about the refuge that will welcome you for a short stop halfway along the route. We are talking about the panorama that will accompany you for the entire route: from Monte Sodadura to Resegone, from the Grigne group to Monte Rosa.
This is what you will admire by taking part in our guided snowshoe hike: a 3-hour walk in the splendid winter setting of the Piani di Artavaggio!
What we will do
The appointment is at 08:30 at the meeting point in Moggio (LC). Awaiting us will be the guide who will accompany us on this adventure in the snow!
Once we have purchased the ticket for the cable car (not included) that takes us to Piani di Artavaggio, we will climb aboard. Once at the top, we will collect our snowshoes and listen to a brief explanation from the guide on how to use them.
At around 10 a.m. our snowshoe hike will begin: we will embark on a special trail through whitewashed pastures, watched over by the iconic pyramid shape of Monte Sodadura. The panoramic route will give us an exclusive view of Resegone and the Grigne group; on clear days it will even be possible to spot Monte Rosa and the Apennines!
We will finally return to the cable car arrival point after snowshoeing for 5 km with a maximum altitude difference of 300 m; a stop will be made halfway along the route near a refuge. The snowshoe hike will last 3 hours; the total experience will last 5 hours. At the end of the hike, it will be possible to stop for lunch (not included) at the Sassi Castelli Refuge, located near the cable car.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for 12 years and over; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The excursion is of an easy level and suitable for a first snowshoeing trip.
Other information
The experience is available from January to February and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 4 participants.
There is parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
